DHL Takes the Brand Phishing Crown

Written by Jeremy Fuchs | October 26, 2022

In an award no one wants to win, DHL is now the most impersonated brand in phishing attacks.

It starts with a phishing email that looks fairly similar to a real DHL email. The bait is an incorrect delivery address. In order to "fix" this, you'd need to sign into your account. That's where your credentials will be stolen.

Brand impersonation attacks are everywhere. Users are encouraged to look at URLs and sender addresses before clicking or interacting with any email, but especially those that are branded.
