Avanan now introduces End User Browser Experience Localization, enabling administrators to change the default language displayed to end users across browser‑based interactions.
In global organizations, there is often a dominant business language, but employees interact in a wide range of native tongues across regions and roles. To enhance clarity and reduce friction, administrators can now configure the default language - previously fixed to English - for browser pages such as the end user portal and quarantine restore justification pages. This improvement gives organizations greater control over localized communication and accessibility for their users.
With this feature, admins specify a default language for all end users and optionally allow users to select their preferred language directly from the browser pages. Once an end user chooses a language, the system retains that preference for future sessions. Combined with existing customization options for added email banners and email notification content, customers can now fully tailor the end user experience in their users’ native languages, improving usability and engagement.
To set it up, navigate to System Settings > Customization and configure the End user pages language field to the desired default language.
