Avanan now supports a broader set of REST APIs for managing exception lists across all security engines.
Until now, exception management via API was limited to anti-phishing allow lists and block lists. With this release, new APIs are available to manage additional exception types, including Anti-Malware, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Anti-Spam Trusted Senders.
This update enables security teams to automate exception handling more consistently across their organization. Whether you’re managing exceptions centrally or integrating with internal systems, these APIs provide more flexibility to keep policies up to date without relying on manual configuration. Customers can now align exception workflows across multiple security engines using the same automation tools they already use for phishing exceptions.
Documentation will be available within a week in the Check Point API reference portal.
