Users logging into Avanan portals or the Avanan MSP portal with only a username and password are mandated to enable MFA

As cyber and BEC attacks become more advanced, more and more business accounts are being compromised and username and password logins have become less and less secure.

As a leading cyber security company, we cannot allow our customers to be exposed and therefore we decided to enforce more security on all users.
Avanan Portal users that try to log into the Avanan portal will need to prove access to their mailbox, by typing in a one-time password. After that, they will need to enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) or switch to a different authentication method (login via Microsoft/Google or Single Sign On). If they fail to do so, they will not be able to login.

Avanan MSP Portal users will have the option to skip enabling MFA until February 1st to allow them time to configure an alternative authentication method.
After February 1st, they will have to enable MFA to login.
