Security Awareness Training in Avanan now includes two new modules focused on emerging phishing techniques that exploit everyday workplace tools.

These modules are designed to address social engineering tactics that are increasingly used to bypass traditional email defenses and target end users directly.

The Calendar Invite Phishing Awareness module educates users on the risks of malicious meeting requests that embed phishing links or social engineering traps directly into calendar events. The QR Code Phishing Awareness module helps users identify and avoid suspicious QR codes that may lead to credential harvesting sites, malicious downloads, or deceptive login pages. Both modules use interactive content and real-world scenarios to train users to detect and respond appropriately to these evolving threats.
